The Alvin PXB Series Drawing Board With Parallel Straightedge is a professional quality, portable drawing board for all creative and technical applications. It is ideal to use when accurate drawing surface is required but space is limited. It offers bump-free drawing with its smooth white melamine surface that is durable and tough with 0.63-inch thick particle board substrate.
This drawing board is equipped with a built-in aluminum parallel straightedge with soft, rubber edges for easy grip and comfort. The cross-wire and pulley system underneath keeps the blade parallel in any position while it glides smoothly up and down the board within ¼-inch of its top and bottom edges. To prevent smudging and ensure clean drawings, it comes with a 0.12-inch thick crystal clear acrylic blade with inking edges. It also has a blade clearance of 3/16 inch for precision even when using foam boards and cutting mats. Both ends are installed with large brake knobs with rubber grips for secure positive locking in any location. It also includes top-mounted adjustment knobs for fine-tuning of parallelism.
The Alvin PXB Series Drawing Board With Parallel Straightedge has three-inch metal legs that are foldable and are set at an angle to eliminate accidental collapse. Its rubber-dipped ends ensure non-slip use and resists scratching any surface. With rubber grip tracks that permits the board to overhang a table edge up to eight inches, it offers additional working angle. This compact and versatile drawing board comes in six sizes to accommodate a wide array of drafting needs.
