15" PVC Knee Boot
Made of a distinct combination of PVC resins and other specialty additives, the boot is super comfortable and extremely durable. It is manufactured to resist chemical concentrates of fat, hydrocarbon, some acids, and caustics, among other chemicals. This unique combination makes it the perfect choice for environments involving food processing and petrochemical applications.
Protection
Designed with the injection molded method, each boot is 100% waterproof and chemical resistant.
For additional toe safety there is a steel toe version as an option. The steel toe design meets ASTM F 2413 M/I/75/C/75 EH and has electric hazard protection.* The heels and soles are designed to reduce the risk of injury resulting from accidental electrical exposure (conductors, circuits, apparatus).
Design - Durable and Comfortable
At 15" tall, this boot gives you high protection that is ideal in food processing and petrochemical plants.
The upper part of the boot is extra soft and flexible to make it comfortable to wear throughout the day. It also has extra materials in the toe and heel contact points for maximum protection and comfort.
The outsole is made of soft materials which make it easier to walk in, but are of a rugged material that creates good abrasion for chemical resistance. Its chevron pattern has more cleat materials to withstand wear and tear longer than the standard cleat. It’s designed to spit out debris on contaminated surfaces and create better traction on slippery surfaces (clean or contaminated).
For added comfort, the boot comes with removable polyurethane insoles that are made of contour cushions for your maximum comfort.
Please Note: While the heels and soles are reinforced for accidental hazardous exposure, these boots are not intended to be worn in environments where protective footwear is required (volatile chemical and explosives environments). Additionally, with excessive wear and wet environments can decrease the hazard protection.
*Boot shall withstand 18,000 volts at 60 HZ for 1 minute with no current flow or leakage current in excess of 1.0 milliamperes under dry conditions tested as per lab conditions in Test Method F 2412.
