The Spectra Nomad 1050 Data Collector operates on a fast 1-Gigahertz processor and a 512-megabyte RAM which provides fast and accurate calculations of land measurements. Equipped with the Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 operating system, the engineers can take advantage of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. It offers selectable onboard software that helps manage any surveying job.
The Nomad 1050 data collector features optional wireless capabilities including Bluetooth, WiFi, and an optional 3.75G dual-band modem for internet connectivity on the go. It is fitted with an advanced GNSS antenna that reads the full constellation of satellite signals, including SBAS. This data collector also has an integrated 8GB memory that allows you to store a large amount of data.
With an IP68 rating, this Spectra data collector is protected from dust ingress and can be immersed in water three feet and above. It boasts a clear, full-colored VGA display with an LED backlight. Data entry is easy with the backlit numeric keypad even when wearing gloves. Plus, it is powered by a Li-ion rechargeable battery that lasts up to 15 hours.
