    Small yet functional, the Midi Sonde 8/33 for Leica DD Utility Locator is compatible with the Leica DD utility locators - DD100 Series and the DD200 Series. It assists the pipe and cable locators in detecting pipes, drains, sewers and other non-conductive utilities. It offers an operating frequency range of eight kilohertz and 33 kilohertz with a diameter of 1.5 inches.

    Acting as a signal transmitter, the Midi Sonde 8/33 has a max depth range of up to 16 feet (5 m). In addition, it uses one AA alkaline battery that runs up to 40 hours of intermittent use at 68 °F. With an M10 male thread with M10 female adapter, this Leica sonde can be attached to a range of equipment including drain rods, boring tools, and inspection cameras. Plus, it is fully submersible for added accuracy.
