Council Tool 352MRFG Michigan Pattern Double Bit Axe w/ Straight Fiberglass Handle *DISCONTINUED*

With its pattern originated from Michigan state, the Council Tool Michigan Pattern Double Bit Axe w/ Straight Fiberglass Handle is double bit and its ends are sharpened in two ways. One is thinner and sharper typically used for knot-free cutting while the other end is thicker and blunter used with knots. 

The 3.5-pound steel head is connected onto a 36-inch yellow straight jacketed fiberglass using a strong epoxy forming both chemical and mechanical bond. The fiberglass has tough and durable polymer material which is non-conductive and non-corrosive. Its 10.5-inch double bit blade is hand sharpened for cutting and splitting. The blade is heat coated with black enamel and clear coating for the cutting edge to prevent rust.
