With impressive speed and precision, the Leica 3D Disto Measuring System is designed to accurately capture and project three-dimensional measurements. This construction device is ideal for creating CAD templates, 3D visualization and navigation, capturing as-built measurements, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Self-leveling within ±3 degrees, the Leica 3D Disto is a cross between a surveyor’s robotic total station and a handheld Disto measuring device. It has a measurement accuracy of ±1/16 inch at 33 feet and uses a Class 2 coaxial visible red laser with a range of up to 164 feet. With an angle accuracy of five seconds, this laser measure has a working range of 360 degrees horizontally and 250 degrees vertically. It also has a viewfinder that can zoom up to 8x and a circular level bubble.
This 3D measuring system is compatible with most computers for saving data and includes a software for Windows. The data can be saved on an SD card and transferred through a Type Micro-B and Type A USB, WLAN, or wirelessly. With an IP54 protection rating, the Leica 3D Disto is protected from dust, sand, and water. It uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery that powers the device up to eight hours. Plus, it comes with a 5/8-11 thread that is compatible with most tripods.
