Picard 2524802 Large Square and Round Faced Planishing Hammer

The Picard Large Square and Round Faced Planishing Hammer is great for delivering powerful blows on a larger surface area. It comes with a 40 mm square face that’s smooth and a 46 mm round face that’s either smooth or checked. The larger faces help achieve more efficient results.

This Picard hammer features a tempered and hardened alloy steel head with a blue hammer effect enamel. It has a ring wedge fixture that secures both the head and handle. In addition, the octagonal handle shape that’s unique to this hammer is designed to reduce and eliminate the risk of slipping from the hand.

Made in Germany, the head of this hand tool weighs 1.1 lbs (500 g). It has a 4” (110 mm) handle length and comes in either ash or hickory handle. It is also covered by a 1-year manufacturer’s defect warranty.
