With an operating range up to 2,000 feet with a laser receiver, it offers an accuracy of ±1/16 inch at 100 feet and is self-leveling within ±5 degrees. Also, it comes with a grade setting of ±8 percent for single axis and ±12 percent for a double axis.
The Johnson 40-6580 comes with an electronic beam shield that turns the laser beam off in one to three quadrants. It also has a dual slope function that allows performing slope at different inclinations in both x and y-axis. This dual grade laser has four adjustable rotation speeds and a tilt alarm function that ensures product accuracy.
