The 40” Curved Hickory Universal Wildland Fire Tool Handle by J.R. Fire Tools is a perfect replacement handle for your wildland fire tools. It is made from premium-grade hickory wood, tapering to a strong rectangular block to reduce grain splitting. It fits seamlessly into J.R. Tools’ Rectangular Universal Neck (comes preassembled with the handle) to which you can attach any tool head including an ax, hoe, and scalper. The curved shape of the handle makes it easier to dig with more power. It’s also longer than the average hoe handle, ideal for reducing back strain while working for hours on the fire line, especially for taller users.
