It is certified as intrinsically safe under CSA-FM(US) for use in in Classes I, Div. 1, Group D and also for nonincendive use in hazardous locations (Classes I, Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, D). The NX-P1200ISNVK is suitable for large industrial sites with potentially explosive or hazardous materials such as oil rigs, gas mains, mines, chemical plants, refineries and other similar environments.
Powerful, secure communication: A portable, durable and safe 2-way business radio, the Kenwood NX-P1200ISNVK operates in analog FM (at 12.5kHz) and NXDN digital (at 6.25 kHz) modes. It provides a total of 64 channels with 16 channels per zone, and frequencies ranging from 151 to 159 MHz for compatibility with other two-way radio brands.
The five-watt (VHF) transmit power covers a range of up to 370,000 square feet or up to 33 floors. Its AMBE+2 voice coding technology and digital air interface ensures superior clarity even in noisy and low-signal areas. To maintain a high level of security, it comes with a 16-code voice inversion scrambler (for analog mode) and NXDN 15 bit encryption (for digital mode).
