The SubSurface Instruments Gradiometer - Electronics Only offers an accurate data on determining gravity and slope gradient. It is great to use for exploration programs, excavation, map alterations and geological mapping. This electronic-only gradiometer only works with the Bore Hole Gradiometer (BHG) and the Magnetic Underwater Locator (MUL) sensors which are sold separately. Both sensor and electronics are used to precisely locate large ferrous metal deposits underground or underwater.
This electronics only gradiometer features an RS-232 PC connection for controlling keypad functions, data log range, and signal settings from the computer. It includes a range setting and is automatic self-adjusting. Also, it includes a bar graph and a visual LCD display for range Gain setting.
This electronics only includes an internal and an external battery that powers the device up to 72 hours of continuous use. For auxiliary power, it comes with a 12-volt alligator clip. In addition, it is supported by a one-year manufacturer's warranty.
