Overview for Garmin 010-00756-10 Garmin VHF 300 Marine Radio

The Garmin VHF 300 Marine Radio is an ideal tool for safe marine navigation while keeping communication open. It features a two-way, 30-watt hailer system that allows contact with other boats or deckhands. For emergency situations, it provides Standard Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC) function that enables distress calls by just pushing a button. It is also installed with a patent-pending voicemail feature that lets mariners pre-record a 15-second message and deliver it to any DSC radio.

This Garmin marine is equipped with GHS 10 handset microphone for full radio control from a remote location. The mic comes with a crisp two-inch LCD display, a dedicated rotary key for frequent tasks, and three soft buttons for dynamic control. For flexibility and the freedom to move about the boat, this radio accommodates up to three additional GHS 20 or GHS 20i wireless handsets. It is also supplied with a four-inch active speaker with volume knob and uses the built-in speaker on the GHS 10 handset microphone.

The Garmin VHF 300 Marine Radio offers a space-saving black box configuration for easy and hassle-free installation. With its multi-station support, it transmits power ranging from one watt up to 25-watts. It permits connectivity with its NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 compliance. It also comes with position tracking capability for locating and keeping tabs on up to three other boats within the area. Its frequency bands include all U.S., Canadian, and international marine channels and ten NOAA weather channels.
