    Overview for Spectra Precision GL422N GL422N Dual Grade Laser With Vertical Alignment

    The Spectra Precision GL422N Dual Grade Laser was designed for a wide range of general construction, site preparation, and excavations. This ruggedized, automatic slope laser provides contractors with accurate leveling, grade, and vertical alignment. With a working range of up to 2,600 feet, it has a grade capability of –10 to +15 percent on both axes. The GL422N is also self-leveling horizontally and vertically within ±5 degrees and has an accuracy of ±1/16 inch per 100 feet. For anchor bolt and form alignment, it self-plumbs in the vertical position and can be mounted on a 5/8-11 tripod thread vertically or horizontally.

    The Spectra GL422N has an out-of-level alert that shuts off the grade laser if it is knocked out of place to prevent inaccurate readings. It also has a selection of sensitivity for accurate results even in high winds or on high vibration job sites.

    With an IP66 rating, this laser level is dustproof and can be used in heavy rain. It can also withstand drops of up to three feet onto concrete and tripod tip-overs up to five feet. This slope laser uses NiMH batteries and works up to 35 hours of continuous use.

    Configuration Options

    The optional Spectra CR700 is ideal for measuring cut and fill, leveling forms and footers, setting grade, and measuring elevation changes. Using the magnetic mount, this machine control receiver can be easily attached to a backhoe, small excavator, box blade, or skid steer loader.

     

    Another optional receiver is the Spectra HL760 which features a digital readout of elevation and unique fingerprint function, This laser receiver also provides automatic grade matching and PlaneLok to eliminate manual slope adjustments and errors due to improper calibration or weather.

     

    The Spectra GL422N also has an optional RC402N full-function remote control that offers an easy to use menu-driven interface. With a working range of up to 330 feet, this radio remote gives the ability to make long-range grade changes and automatic alignments. Please select your preference from the menu above.

         Fingerprint function filters out other lasers that strike the receiver and only accept the laser that it is paired with.   
         Grade Match enables contractors to measure an unknown grade value automatically between two elevation points.     
         Dual Axis PlaneLok keeps the laser beam fixed to a receiver in a set position, making it accurate and error-free.
