High-Quality Construction: The Floating Lowering Device is made from heavy-duty steel material, and is Zinc-plated, to resist corrosion and rust. It has a bottom anchor point, with a large eye, that can be used to attach choked sling. The device’s upper anchor point is used to handle, hold, and tension the working rope depending on the weight and preference of the user, and can also be used for Rapid-Slack-Removal of rope while blocking down logs. The Floating Lowering Device has a standard dimension of 9 5/8" L x 4 3/4" W x 11 3/4" H, and has 2 3/8" barrel diameter, making it a high-quality and helpful rigging tool for the tree professional.

The Stein Floating Lowering Device comes in two different options that differ on the model type and their configurations. You may choose between the RC-1000, which has a working load limit of up to 2205 lbs, or the improved RC-2000, which has a working load limit of 4,409 lbs.
