The Topcon FC-2600 Field Controller is a powerful handheld computer that helps store data from the work site. It runs on Windows CE 6.0 OS and has an internal memory of 256MB. This data collector is compatible with different surveying software, including Topcon's MAGNET Field software. It can also work in coordination with an AutoCAD program.

The wireless range of the Topcon FC-2600 Field Controller is up to 1000 feet. It features a full keypad for seamless data entry and a colored touchscreen display that can be used with a stylus. The built-in camera allows construction professionals to take pictures of the job site or use it as a bar code reader. Surveyors can even measure remotely, using the Topcon FC-2600 as a video display.

With an IP-67 rating, this Topcon data collector is protected against water and dust. It is even able to withstand being in three feet under water. The tough case is protected against drops from up to four feet. For all-day use in the field, it runs on rechargeable NiMH batteries for up to 42 hours.
