Triage tagging is very important in various emergency situations such as natural disasters, plane, crashes, train and automobile accidents and other mass-casualty incidents. The Prism Emergency Triage Light offers faster, easier and a more effective way of marking and prioritizing individuals in need of medical attention. Developed in partnership with the United States Special Operating Forces the PETL is a newly patented technology available for the first time to nonmilitary personnel.
The Prism Emergency Triage Light is easy to place and provides bright signals indicating the triage status of an injured person at a distance in low light conditions and even in complete darkness. It provides accurate information compared to manually filling out a comment card which can be difficult when there are smoke, dust and poor weather conditions, in underwater settings and in buried situations. The PETL can also be used as an emergency light source offering numerous benefits than chemical light sticks can offer.
The Prism Emergency Triage Light features 4-in-one light, which includes red, yellow, green and blue color. Each PETL version is equipped with different modes such as emergency off feature, selective memory, reprogrammable chip, locking feature, flashing lights, LED lock, grenade mode and many other (please refer to the PDF file attached for detailed specifications). It comes in silicon housing and is water resistant. Designed with a notched tip to help a user to locate the switch even under blind conditions and recessed switch to prevent the selected condition from being changed accidentally. It comes with a 1-year warranty.
