The standard procedure to calibrate a conductivity meter is by using a solution with a known value of conductivity, such as the Turf-Tec EC Meter Conductivity Standard. This instrument is used to calibrate the Turf-Tec EC Meter Probe for Soil and Water and Turf-Tec Hanna pH and EC Pen.
To start calibrating using the Turf-Tec conductivity standard, the meter's probes or electrodes must be washed with distilled water. Soak the probes to the standard solution, making sure that the probes do not touch any part of the solution's container. After the reading is displayed, calibrate the meter to match the conductivity of the solution.
The Turf-Tec EC Meter Conductivity Standard is made in the USA. A 1-year limited warranty covers this product.
