This tool is excellent to use for ultra dwarf grasses and for the removal of Poa Annua, Goosegrass, and any unwanted weeds from golf greens. Other than golf greens, this plugger is also useful in laboratory analysis, such as nematode sampling.
The Turf-Tec Duich ball mark plugger features a hardened cutter blade which removes a turf plug 2.5 inches deep and 1.5 inches in diameter. Its hollow handle fills up a total of 12 plugs, which are ejected by turning the ball mark plugger upside down.
This Turf-Tec plugger comes with three 1/8-inch thick rubber washers, which allows the removal of shallower plugs. This will ensure the level and playability of the field. Turf-Tec also offers a larger plugger called the Turf-Tec Tubular Turf Plugger to remove 2.5-inch diameter plugs for larger weeds.
