Overview for RopeLogic SPLICING-20500 Double Head Tenex 3/4" D x 15' L Rigging Sling w/ Notch Aluminum #3 XL Thimbles

The Rope Logic Double Head Tenex Rigging Sling w/ Notch Aluminum Thimbles is a combination of a rigging rope and a heavy-duty thimble, which is used by arborists and foresters as a versatile cordage tool for rigging applications. Strong & reliable, this dead sling-and-thimble combo can be used for redirects, and for reducing point stress during the rigging process, adding safety for the arborist. The hole on the thimbles can be utilized to adjust the friction on the rigging line.

High-Quality Design: The 3/4" (20mm) diameter rigging sling is made from a coreless, low stretch, hollow braid, samthane-coated, 12-strand Tenex-Tec material which provides a more enhanced & balanced wear life, with a high working load limit & ease of splicing. The sling has a tensile strength of 24,000 lbs, and has a standard length of 15', making it a strong and reliable cord for the user. The sling is designed with one free end, and the other end has two (2) separate parts that accommodate the thimbles.

This device also features two (2) Notch #3 Rigging Thimbles, both have 38mm x 28mm dimensions, and are made from non-anodized, milled aluminum block, which are polished for durability. Each ring has a wide rope groove to have a safe and secure anchoring, a tensile strength of 10,000 lbs to withstand heavy loads, and can accommodate up to 7/8" diameter sling ropes. These are expertly-spliced in the rigging sling for efficiency and ease of use.
