In use for over 28 years and preferred by builders nationwide, the DHR Standard Doc-Box Permit Box protects plans and permits on job sites. It also acts as a job signage with a warning to trespassers. Also, the DHR permit box is made of durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) thermoplastic with a choice of polycarbonate shatterproof window and lock that can withstand harsh environments. Plus, it has a dimension of 21"L x 27"W x 4"H.
The inside features a corrugated plastic tack board, an integrated rolled plan pocket, and an aluminum prop arm to keep the cover open while in use. In addition, it features secure hinges which are rated for thousands of openings, and their side mounted location minimizes the possibility of direct moisture entry.
The integrated snap lock closure secures the lid and prevents the box from blowing open while remaining unlocked. The unique flange design is coupled with a deep overlap when closed to provide a maximum weather seal. As an additional feature, it is pre-drilled with self-centering guides to mount on a wall or post. Plus, it includes mounting hardware and push pins.
