The Oce ColorWave 600 Toner Pearls P1 is a special solid toner manufactured by Oce for its wide-format system. It is pebble-shaped toner that is melted into a toner gel that is jetted and crystallized onto the media. No water is applied in the printing process so media does not get wet, no drying time is required, and there are no media shrinking issues. It is a 500-gram cartridge that can produce a considerable amount or high-quality prints.
The benefits of toner pearls or solid toner include clean handling, easily separated and transported, and a see-through cartridge makes it easy to view the remaining toner level in the system. It also ensures no system contamination with powder toner or dust, is odorless and does not emit ozone like conventional LED print technologies.
