The Calculated Industries Center Mark Magnetic Drywall Locator Tool is part of the drywall cutout line. This recessed lighting fixture locator allows first-time DIYs and experienced handyperson to accurately locate can-light fixtures for quick and precise cutting of holes in sheetrock. No measuring required, as the handy tool uses powerful rare earth magnets to get the job done.
This drywall locator tool can be used with traditional screw-in bulb cans to cut out different sizes of recessed light fixture openings, i.e. 4”, 5”, and 6”. Using the Center Mark is easy, simply screw the targets into the fixture, install the drywall, locate the target and start cutting the hole. This eliminates expensive errors in measuring, improves productivity, and saves money on wasted materials.
The set includes 2 adjustable target magnets and 1 target locator magnet. It has a downloadable user’s guide in French, Spanish and English. This product also qualifies for a full one-year limited warranty.
