Overview for Porcellane Principe PP676 Capodimonte "Teaching Surveying" Figurine (676)

Handmade and hand painted in porcelain in the Porcellana Pirncipe workshop in Italy, following the tradition of the old Capodimonte school.

Bears on the base the name of the sculptor, Luciano Cazzola and the logo of Porcellane Pirncipe with a certificate of origin in three languages.

Capodimonte porcelain is the highest and most perfect example in the Italian artistic ceramics field and one of the artistic artisanal products most appreciated in the world thanks to the mastery of the manufacturing and care for details.

The name “Capodimonte” is essentially linked to the city of Naples and, in particular, to the kingdom of Charles III of Bourbon who, in 1743, built a factory on a hill nearby the royal palace named after Capodimonte, in order to manufacture a porcelain which would be of the same high quality as the European ones, the top one being Messein’s.

The “Capodimonte” collection proposed by Principe reflects the typical style of this school, inspired by everyday life, with particular reference to last century’s rural life.
