The Compu-Flow C6 Transit-Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter is a wall-mounted or portable flow meter that utilizes a pair of transducers to measure the flow rate of liquid inside a pipe. By determining the difference in time from when the first transducer transmitted an ultrasonic signal until it was received by the second transducer, it compares the upstream and downstream flow readings to calculate the flow rate. Other measured values it provides are volumetric flow, flow velocity, flow direction, speed of sound, and quality of measured signal.
This Compu-Flow transit-time ultrasonic flow meter will work with different sensors including clamp-on, insertion, or flow-cell transducers. It can be used on pipes with inside diameter ranging from 0.6 inch up to 236 inches (15 millimeters to 6,000 millimeters). For high accuracy and precision, the liquid should not have significant amount of solids or air bubbles as they would interfere with the high frequency sound. It features a RS485 port for MODBUS, M-BUS and FUJI extending communication protocol.
The Compu-Flow C6 Transit-Time Ultrasonic Flow Meter offers up to three analog input channels. Its outputs include 4/20mA, OCT pulse, frequency, and relay with positive, negative, net accumulation pulses, and different alarm signals. It is equipped with a two-line LCD display with backlight and a tactile-feedback numeric keypad membrane to allow simple interfacing. With built-in or integrated SIM card data logger, it can hold all parameter inputs up to 99 years. It ensures durability and water resistance with its powder-coated cast aluminum (for fixed model) enclosure with IP65 enclosure rating.
