This device uses a radiometric thermal sensor to measure temperatures so you can quickly find air leaks, plumbing issues, hot fuses, and more. Quick diagnoses: The 128 x 96 thermal sensor and the 5-megapixel visual camera can quickly spot and capture hidden faults. The Flir MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) feature makes it easier to understand the image by superimposing details from the visual camera onto the thermal image. Further, the built-in LED flashlight makes it easy to navigate dark and hard-to-access areas. Temperatures ranging from 14°F to 122°F are measured using a spot meter or an area box meter.
Easy documentation and sharing: Right inside the camera, you can add notes to images such as location, conditions, and issues to make post-processing and reporting more efficient. Using the camera’s WiFi capability, you can then upload images directly to the Flir Ignite cloud software to store, organize, and back up images. You can share these images with colleagues or clients by generating a shared link that can be password-protected. Or you can also create professional reports using reporting software such as Flir Thermal Studio.
User-friendly: The C3-X is intuitive and easy to learn. Once turned on, you can immediately take, save, and edit pictures. When an image is saved, you can switch among four viewing modes: Thermal MSX, Thermal, Digital (Visible), and Picture in Picture. Measuring 5.4 × 3.3 × 0.94 in, it’s a very compact camera that fits right into your pocket. It has a 3.5” touchscreen and a rechargeable battery with a 4-hour operating time.
Rugged build: Despite its compact size, the Flir C3-X has an IP54 enclosure that provides a degree of protection against dust and water. It is designed to withstand a 6.6' (2 m) drop.
