True Horizontal Distance
The Bushnell Laser RangeFinder is equipped with Angle Range Compensation Technology. This feature solves a problem range finders have had for years by giving you true horizontal distances. This rangefinder provides you with a built-in inclinometer that allows you to measure angles from +90 to -90 degrees delivering an accuracy of +/ 1 degrees.
The ARC Laser Range Finder can be used in Bow Mode for measuring distances up to 199 yards and gives you line of sight distance and angle. The true distance is a very useful measurement, it basically uses the angle of elevation when measuring targets that are either uphill or downhill, allowing for distance compensation and extremely accurate measurement.
