The Bosch GLM15 Laser Distance Meter 0601072810 is an easy-to-use, affordable laser tape measure. This laser measuring tool features one-button operation for a lightning-fast learning curve. Just point and click to start measuring. The bottom of the GLM15 is pre-set as the measurement reference point – for instance, if you want to measure a window, you would place your laser meter with the back against the window ledge. It is accurate down to ±1/8" with a range of 6” - 50' in good conditions.
Intuitive Operation
Once you turn the unit on, continuous measurement mode starts automatically, updating approximately every 0.5 seconds as you move the distance measurer. To stop continuous measurement, press the On/Off button. This will turn off the laser beam and the last measured value will be shown in the upper line on the display. To resume continuous measurement, just press the button again, and the new measurement values will appear on the bottom line. You can easily switch between measurements in feet and inches or meters depending on what you need for that particular job.
Compact and Portable
The Bosch GLM-15 has outside dimensions of 4”L x 1.4”W x 0.9”H, and weighs only 0.2 lbs, so it easily fits into a pocket. The power source is 2 “AAA” batteries (included) that give you about 5 hours of operation. A low battery signal warns you when you need to change the batteries. If the unit is out of operation for 5 minutes or longer it will turn itself off to conserve power.
The Bosch GLM15 Laser Measure comes with a 1-year limited warranty that is extendable to 2 years if you register your laser meter within 8 weeks of purchase.
