The BetaX Wildland Fire Shirt by Coaxsher is a breathable, lightweight shirt designed to protect firefighters when up against wildfires while giving enough airflow to cool them down. It has four airflow vents called Xvents – two on each bicep area and two on the lower chest region – to help cool the wearer’s core and prevent overheating.

Sewn to provide maximum comfort and protection, the BetaX is made mostly of 5.8 oz Tecasafe Plus, the leading FR fabric widely used in utilities, oil refineries, the gas industry, and the petrochemical industry for its unbeatable electric arc and flash fire protection. The BetaX is reinforced with 7oz Tecasafe Plus in areas where you want extra toughness. When things get rough, you can close off all entries with the top button neck closure and the Velcro wrist straps. Unlike other FR fabrics, the FR properties of the BetaX will not wash or wear out over time, keeping you protected for years to come.
Easy to use in tight situations
Designed with usability in mind, the BetaX is easy to wear and take off with the ¾ front zipper. It also has two glove-friendly bicep pockets with segmented Velcro where you can secure small items so you focus on the job at hand. It also has a mic clip strap for when you need to use a radio mic.
