The Fluke BT500 Series Battery Analyzer is an ideal device that is great to use for maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of immobile batteries and battery banks that is used in demanding battery backup applications. It is capable of doing an extensive range of battery test functions such as DC voltage, resistance tests, automated string function testing, and test probe integrated infrared temperature measurement system. The BT500 series comes with a battery resistance range of up to three milliOhms with one percent accuracy.
The Fluke BT500 analyzer has a VDC range up to 1,000 volts and a VAC range of up to 600 volts. Also, it comes with an Intercell Strap Resistance Test and Data Management that measures the resistance of intercell connection between batteries in a string. For easy data importing and sharing, this battery analyzer features the Fluke Battery Management software that compares, monitors and analyzes electrical trends.
Rated for safety purposes, the BT500 series has a CAT III 600V/1000V category rating that allows safe calibration around the equipment. It uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery that powers the device up to eight hours. In addition, it has an IP40 rating and a Class 2 Pollution Degree Protection which protects the device from harshest environments.
