Overview for Sterling 40509 Aztek Elite Rigging System

The Sterling Aztek Elite Rigging System is a reliable set of gears used by arborists for rigging and rescue applications. This multifunction kit is primarily used for mechanical advantage rigging, and can also serve as an adjustable high directional kit for belay lines, rigging set for aerial rescues, and as an attendant tether system.

High-Quality Design: This unique Aztek Elite System features the heavy-duty, low-stretch, 8mm D x 50' L Edge Restraint Cord, which is made from heavy-duty rope material for durability and flexibility, and has an expertly sewn eye for gear attachments. Rigging gears are attached within the rope, such as two (2) Aztek Omni Block pulleys for mechanical adjustments and load orientation, two (2) 6mm sewn ratchet prusiks for friction management, and three (3) SafeD Aluminum Carabiners for anchor connection.

One side of the cord functions as an individual edge restraint system, with the attached 6mm travel restraint and 8mm steel screw link. This Mechanical Advantage Rigging Kit has a tensile strength of 6,295 lbs, and comes with an Aztek Carrying Pouch Bag for storage, protection, and easy transport of the rigging items.
