The Flir AX8 Thermal Monitoring Camera is a compact thermal imaging camera designed for continuous temperature monitoring. Ideal for storage facilities, refrigeration warehouses, manufacturing areas, and energy generation plants, it has automated alarming that protects against unplanned power outages, service interruptions, and equipment failures.
This thermal monitoring sensor by Flir offers a thermal sensitivity of 100 mK to detect temperatures ranging from 14 to 302 degrees Fahrenheit. It provides clear images with its 48° x 37° field of view and IR resolution of 80 x 60 pixels. Compliant to Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP, it allows automatic analysis that can be easily shared to a programmable logic controller (PLC).
The Flir AX8 Thermal Monitoring Camera measures only 2.1”L x 1”W x 3.7”H, making it easy to install even in small and hard-to-reach areas. It is sold separately or comes with an accessory kit, which includes a PoE injector, an Ethernet cable, and mounting plates (front and rear). It is also backed by a one-year limited warranty.
