Product Options
The Petzl AM'D Aluminum D-Shaped Carabiner comes in three options that differ depending on the locking mechanism they have. Kindly choose your preference on the options menu above.
For the Ball-lock system, a green ball can be seen on the carabiner indicating that the sleeve is locked, while the climber can easily unlock the gate by pressing the ball and twisting its sleeve. For the Tri-act Lock, the carabiner features a triple action gate opening, while on the screw-locking system, a red indicator can be seen every time the carabiner is unlocked. A pin is used to open the lock for the Pin-Lock type of AM'D carabiner.
