The 5-Watt Solar Panel Kit for Weatherhawk Signature Weather Station is a versatile power source that efficiently charges the internal lead-acid battery pack of the Weatherhawk Signature Series (Direct Connect and Wireless) weather stations. This solar panel kit features a 72 square-inch surface area which produces a five-watt current at a peak of 17.1 voltage power. As an additional feature, the SP2-KT solar panel is great only for locations that have a latitude of less than 50 degrees or in areas that receive enough sunlight.

Please Note: The 5-Watt Solar Panel Kit is used as an alternative to the AC power supply for recharging the Weatherhawk battery pack. If the area has a latitude of 66 degrees and above or the area doesn’t receive enough sunlight, it is better to use the AC power supply.
