The Fluke 438-II Power Quality and Motor Analyzer is a state-of-the-art testing device that is able to measure a detailed power quality reading while doing a motor performance analysis at the same time. It is a portable measurement tool that aids in locating, predicting, preventing and calibrating power quality such as voltage, current, power, harmonics, unbalance, motor speed, torque, and mechanical power without using mechanical sensors. This analyzer features a motor frequency range of 40 to 70 Hertz and has a category rating of 600 V CAT IV/ 1,000V CAT III which is common for industrial applications.
The 438-II analyzer features a Fluke Connect feature and comes with the PowerLog 430-II desktop software that is used for easier analysis and processing of data. Also, it comes with a PowerWave data technology and Waveform capture function to detect half-cycle averages and 100/120 cycles of each event. For safety purposes, it has an Automatic Transient Mode that takes waveform data at 200 kilo-samples per second using all phases at the same time up to six kilo-volts.
With an IP51 rating, the Fluke 438-II is dust and water droplet resistant. It features a large colored six-inch LCD display that is user-adjustable and temperature compensated. As an additional feature, this Fluke motor analyzer complies with EN 61326 EMC standards for emission and immunity.
