The Amerex 3.7lbs Halotron BrX Fire Extinguisher is a high-performance, lightweight extinguisher with minimal environmental impact, making it an ideal alternative to Halon 1211 extinguishers in the aviation industry. This 5B:C extinguisher uses Halotron BrX (2-BTP), a clean, non-corrosive agent that is UL, ISO, EN, EASA, and FAA compliant. The 3.7lbs Halotron BrX Extinguisher is available in two models: Model 347 (with a nozzle) and Model 349 (with a hose).

It contains bromine which breaks the chemical reactions needed for combustion. The extinguisher is backward compatible with many Halon 1211 installations, making it easy to replace Halon 1211 onboard aircraft and ground-based facilities.
Rugged build: This extinguisher is made of aluminum cylinders with long-lasting polyester powder paint. It has an all-metal, durable valve and can operate from-40ºF to 120ºF/-40ºC to 49ºC.
