The Generac 200-Amp Service Rated Outdoor Manual Transfer Switch allows a safe and smooth transfer of electric power from a portable generator to essential appliances or circuits in an event of a power outage. Used as a service entrance equipment for 200-amp services, this transfer switch powers air conditioner compressors, sewage lift pumps, boat docks, outbuildings, garages, pump houses, barns and the like. Also, it is able to accommodate 12 single pole circuits.
This Generac manual transfer switch includes a double-pole generator main and 12 extra spaces to support more branch circuit breakers or AC disconnects. It includes a 200-amp utility main breaker that is mechanically interlocked to prevent both mains to be on at the same time. This transfer switch is compatible with single-phase generators.
With a NEMA 3R enclosure, this service-rated transfer switch features a steel housing that can be mounted outdoors and protects the unit from foreign materials and falling debris, water and snow. Also, it comes with ample ground and neutral termination positions for all branch circuits. In addition, it includes sub-feed lugs for feeding additional downstream panels or for expanding beyond 16 circuits.
