The Fluke 1621 Basic Earth Ground Tester is a user-friendly device that measures the earth resistance of a particular earth ground electrode. Also, it is an essential tool for identifying ground connections safely. For versatility, the Fluke 1621 performs two basic ground testing procedures such as the 3-Pole Fall-of-Potential and the 2-Pole Ground Resistance Tests.

With a measuring range of two measurements per second, the Fluke 1621 offers a resistance range of up to two kiloohms. This ground tester has a measuring resistance frequency of 128 hertz with an open circuit voltage of 23 to 24 AC volts. Also, it features a test voltage of 3.7 kilovolts.

The 1621 ground tester has an IP40 rating which protects the instrument from solid objects greater than one millimeter. For easy reading and data recording, it comes with a large digital LCD display with backlight for areas with low light. Designed for harsh job sites, the Fluke 1621 has a portable, rugged holster and design.
