The Amerex 125 lbs Regulated Wheeled ABC Fire Extinguisher is a portable extinguisher for large facilities with extra-high risks of Class A (ordinary combustibles), B (flammable liquid/gas), and C (electrical equipment) fires. This regulated pressure extinguisher uses a 110 cubic foot nitrogen cylinder with a pressure regulator to completely discharge the cylinder. Because of its sturdy wheeled trolley, it can be easily transported by a single operator anywhere in your facility, making it ideal for construction sites, airports, parking lots, loading docks, and other large commercial and industrial spaces with high amounts of highly combustible materials. It is available in two models – the Amerex 467 with the 16” semi-pneumatic rubber tires and the Amerex 670 with the 36” steel wheels. Both models meet Transport Canada requirements.
Superior firefighting power for extra-high hazard areas. Both the Amerex 467 and 670 contain 125 pounds of the ABC dry chemical agent, a unique, specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical that insulates Class A fires and smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires. It will not conduct electricity back to the operator. Using the nitrogen cylinder, the agent is discharged to a range of 30-40 feet and with a discharge time of 48 seconds. With a UL rating of 30A:240B:C, the firefighting power of both models is equal to that of 37.5 gallons of water. One unit of both models can suppress 240 square feet of Class B fires. The pressure regulator ensures adequate pressure for a smooth, complete discharge of the dry chemical with a pressure reserve for blowing down the discharge hose.
User-friendly portable design. All Amerex wheeled extinguishers are designed to be as compact as possible to make them easy to maneuver and transport in narrow hallways, doorways, and confined spaces by a single operator. The 16” semi-pneumatic rubber tires are easy to use on rough, uneven terrains while the 36” X 2.5” steel wheels are best for sandy or soft soil. Both models come with a 50 ft hose for easy and safe agent application, and both are labeled with a large instruction pictogram and a UL/ULC label with a QR code.

The Amerex 467 and 470 feature an all-metal, corrosion-resistant construction including the heavy-duty steel cylinder, carriage, and hose rack, as well as the stainless-steel collars, brass hose fittings, and live swivel on the discharge valve. These extinguishers are safe to use at temperatures ranging from -65º to 120º.
