ZipLevel replaces or supplements rotary lasers and builders levels. It is a precision pressurized hydrostatic altimeter that levels and reads elevations by measuring the pressure developed by gravity acting on the net height of liquid between the MM and the BU. It works much like an aircraft altimeter that measures the weight of the air above it except that Zip Level does not use the atmosphere to measure elevation.
Functions:
- Transfer levels
- Measure height differences
- Monitor height changes, e.g. foundation subsidence
- Carry out topographical surveys
