The Nedo LumiScale Self-Illuminating Leveling Rod puts an end to the inconvenience of squinting in the dark trying to get a good look at your grade rod, or figuring out how to hold a flashlight with your hands full. Ideal for work in low light conditions, such as tunneling underground, this illuminated grade rod is back-lit with electroluminescent foil that provides even lighting without any shadows. You can clearly see your entire surveying rod – the illuminated area is 87” x 1” (2125 mm x 25 mm). Power is provided through rechargeable NiMH batteries, which are included with purchase, along with the charger. The batteries give you approximately 5.5 hours of working time.
Choice of Bar Code
The LumiScale is available with barcode graduations for all popular digital levels. The Leica DNA, Leica-Sprinter, Sokkia, Topcon RAB, and Trimble levels are all represented. Please choose the appropriate barcode rod from the drop-down menu on the upper right-hand corner of the page. The bar code is printed on polyester film (αTH < 18 ppm/°C).
Get The Most Accurate Measurements
Use of this illuminated grade rod will enhance the precision of your measurements. The University of Graz in Austria has done extensive testing that shows errors are much decreased due to the evenness of the lighting. The LumiScale has an accuracy of Δℓ = ±(0.2 mm + 2ℓ *10 -4). A built-in illuminated circular bubble with a sensitivity of 12' helps you keep everything straight. The sturdy aluminum body does not bend. An IP 54 protection class means that this self-illuminated surveying rod can stand up to the worst your job site can throw at it. Nedo backs up their products with a 2-year limited replacement part warranty.
Dimensions of the Nedo Lumiscale are 87’’ x 3’’ x 2.5’’ (2200 mm x 70 mm x 60.5 mm) and it weighs 9 lb (4 kg). It comes with a carrying bag.
