12½" Triple Dipped Neoprene Boots
All the triple dipped neoprene boots are designed for maximum safety, comfort, and durability; even more so than standard rubber boots. These boots are ideally used in food processing (red meat, dairy), chemical, and petrochemical (exploration and production) sites. The Safety-Loc outsoles are designed to provide excellent traction on wet-clean surfaces. The outsole of the boot is designed for greater safety on slick surfaces.
Each boot is triple dipped in neoprene. The neoprene gives it a coating that makes it waterproof and chemical resistant. Neoprene is especially resistant to oils, alcohols, alkalis, caustics, hydrocarbons, certain acids and solvents, and animal fats and blood.
Design - Durable and Comfortable
At 12½" tall, this boot gives you standard protection. It is perfect for a slippery jobsite.
The upper part of the boot is extra flexible as a result of the layered design. The boot is designed so that it maintains flexibility while it hugs your leg for protection. It also has extra materials in the toe and heel contact points for maximum protection and comfort. For additional toe safety there is a steel toe.
The steel toe design meets ASTM F 2413 M/I/75/C/75 EH and has electric hazard protection.* The heels and soles are designed to reduce the risk of injury resulting from accidental electrical exposure (conductors, circuits, apparatus). This boot also has a steel shank for firmer and longer lasting support.
The liner of this boot is manufactured from a denser fabric. The advantage of this is twofold. This makes it extra easy to slip on and off. Additionally, it wicks all moisture (precipitation, condensation).
For added comfort, the boot comes with removable polyurethane insoles that are made of contour cushions for your maximum comfort.
Please Note: While the heels and soles are reinforced for accidental hazardous exposure, these boots are not intended to be worn in environments where protective footwear is required (volatile chemical and explosives environments). Additionally, with excessive wear and wet environments can decrease the hazard protection.
*Boot shall withstand 18,000 volts at 60 HZ for 1 minute with no current flow or leakage current in excess of 1.0 milliamperes under dry conditions tested as per lab conditions in Test Method F 2412.
