For high precision levelling, the Leica GPCL2 Invar Levelling Staff with Bar Code is ideal for use in large scale construction sites. It is an essential accessory to Leica DNA03 and DNA10 to accurately determine differences in elevation with just the press of a button. This surveying rod has a length of 5.56 feet or two meters and features two built-in handles for steady positioning.
The GPCL2 levelling staff has a body made of rigid aluminium profile with anodized surface. It has a yellow lacquered barcode graduation side and an Invar tape tensioned by soft spring to ensure a minimal thermal expansion coefficient. In addition, this levelling rod has two circular bubbles to ensure that it is completely vertical when taking measurements.
To electronically read the staff, make sure the Leica GPCL2 with the bar code side is facing the digital autolevel. The height of the staff where the level beam crosses the levelling rod will be shown on a digital display. This process greatly eliminates human error and increases accuracy.
This Leica Invar levelling staff is also available with calibration certificates. The calibration certificates provide an assurance that the instrument will be reliable in use, contains special measurement conditions and other important information.
