The Keson Black-Metal Case 2-Sided Fiberglass Tape 50' MC181050 is a durable fiberglass tape measure with a double sided blade. This allows you to use different units on one tool. The one side of the 50 foot tape uses standard feet and inches, with it marked off to the 1/8-inch. The other side of the tape marks off the feet in both 1/10 and 1/100-foot increments.
The hand crank allows this tape measure to be wound back into the sturdy case, to protect the tape from damage and twisting so you will be able to use it for years to come. Due to the density of the fiberglass (40,000 strands) it will not shrink and will hold up well. The case uses a double-throat roller so you do not have to worry about the tape twisting when you finish the job and wind it up into the case.
The hook end of the Keson surveyor's tape makes it easy for one person to measure an area. Just slip the hook over the end, and it stays in place. The tape measure also starts at zero, so you do not have to adjust for a margin. You have a choice of 50' or 100' foot lengths for this Keson survey tape measure.
