The Johnson 24-Inch Bubble Level 1724 accurately determines plumb and level. It has a sturdy aluminum frame and magnetic base. There are 3 standard glass lens windows or sights with an additional top-view window. You can view the results on the 3 replaceable acrylic vials. There are 2 vials for plumb and 1 for level. It also has protective end caps, 2 built-in handles, and replaceable cover plates.
Advantages of the Magnetic Base
This magnetic level attaches easily to ferrous metal surfaces, offering several advantages. The obvious one is hands-free operations. Aside from being convenient, it also enhances efficiency. It allows you to multitask or to do jobs alone that would normally require an extra set of hands. You can also use it for working in tight spaces where there is only enough room for you or the tool – not both. Additional, it is convenient for picking up nails or to use when you are working with metal beams.
Handles Rigorous Daily Use
The construction of this aluminum level provides durability and resiliency. Two end caps provide overall protection to the aluminum frame. They absorb shocks and act as buffers when it is dropped, bumped, or braced against another object. The frame is strong and unyielding, allowing it to hold up to harsh working conditions. And, the tough vials resist impacts from debris and other equipment.
This bubble level has multiple viewing options. In addition to the standard sights, there is a bonus top-view window directly above the level vial. That extra window offers a great way to view the results straight-on, from above, or directly below. This eliminates the need to lean or stretch to read the vial – which could cause a shift that would taint its accuracy.
This magnetic spirit level comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
