The Calculated Industries Scale Master Classic digital measurer simplifies the work involved in analyzing take-offs from plans, drawings, and maps. It accurately reads and stores dimensional information and offers a range of convenient features. Convert between dimension and wide array of scales, memory options, and buttons that make it easy to gather information. Plus, plans can be read while rolling the measurer backward or forward. This digital plan measurer works well for engineers, architects, pipeline contractors, electrical contractors, and anyone that relies on accurate take-offs from plans and maps.
The Scale Master Class provides a choice of 72 built-in scales organized by engineering, large-scale engineering, and custom. There are 39 scales for U.S. measurements and 33 for metric units. The U.S. scale generally displays in fractions that represent feet, and yards. The metric scale displays in ratio and converts millimeters to meters and kilometers. These units can also be read and displayed in cubic and square formats. In addition to the built-in scales, you can create up to 6 custom scales – 3 for U.S. scales and 3 for metric scales, ideal for plans that are poorly copied or not to-scale.
Reading Plans, Drawings, and Maps
To read plans, hold the Scale Master Classic like a pen and roll it over forward or backwards. The measurer will decipher the length, width/height, and areas of spaces on the plan so that you can determine volume and calculate cost. It also counts items, allowing a tally of studs, light fixtures, doors, or anything else. And if you make a mistake, just press the subtract key and roll over the space or item to be deducted.
This Calculated Industries Scale Master Classic is very versatile and adapts easily to projects. Use it to read plans and drawings, then store the information for later use. Roll the measurer at any speed and it accurately detects measurements and items. It also allows measurements of both regular and irregular distances as well as odd-shapes. The screen displays the current measurement in feet-inches or metric, and prompts you for confirmation.
The Calculated Industries Scale Master Classic includes a soft pouch, user guide, two long life batteries, and a 1 year limited warranty.
