When working in extreme environments such as muddy and rocky terrain, proper foot ware is essential. These 16” metatarsal boots are built to give your foot it’s much needed support. This in turn, will greatly reduce the chance of slipping and overall improve your mobility at a jobsite. The 16” metatarsal boots are available in sizes 6-15 to accommodate most shoe sizes.
Build and Durability
The 16” metatarsal boot has a steel toe. The boot’s rubber is puncture resistant and 100% waterproof. Additionally, the boot is made from ozone resistant materials to reduce premature cracking. The boot Meets ASTM F 2413 M/I/75/C/75 Mt75 PR EH for steel toe impact and compression, metatarsal impact, puncture resistance, and electrical hazard protection*. This steel toe combined with the internal ankle support system will help will reduce the risk of injury. The boot’s heel and sole are cleated to provide secure footing and slip resistance.
Your comfort was of utmost priority when designing the 16” metatarsal boot. The boot has a contour polyurethane insole that absorbs shock and moisture. A steel shank adds arc support. Additionally, the boot has a snug leg design, hugging the foot adding an extra measure of comfort.
The boot is practical as is gets. Getting the boot on and off is simple and the boot can be fastened using the rear gusset. This rear gusset can be easily released with a quick release buckle. A reflector tape around the middle of the boot provides enhanced visibility. Getting the boot off is as easy as 1, 2, 3, with the rear kick off lug. *Boot shall withstand 18,000 volts at 60 HZ for 1 minute with no current flow or leakage current in excess of 1.0 milliamperes under dry conditions tested as per lab conditions in Test Method F 2412.
